HEIC is the default photo format on iPhones and iPads since iOS 11. It saves space at high quality, but most Windows PCs, Android phones, and websites cannot open it. ConvHEIC converts your photos to JPG or PNG so they work everywhere, without uploading anything.
Choose JPG when file size matters. It is ideal for photos, compresses well, and produces small files that are easy to share. The quality trade-off is minimal for most photos.
Choose PNG when quality is the priority. It uses lossless compression, so every pixel is preserved exactly. Best for screenshots, graphics, and images with text. The files are larger, but the quality is perfect.
Yes. ConvHEIC runs entirely in your browser using the open-source heic2any library. Your images never leave your device, no account is needed, and nothing is stored. Once you close the tab, everything is gone.
Yes. ConvHEIC works in any modern browser including Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, and all desktop browsers. No app installation is required.
There is no enforced limit. Since conversion happens in your browser, the only constraint is your device's available memory. Most modern phones and computers handle even large HEIC files without any issues.
Yes. You can select or drop as many HEIC files as you like. They are queued and converted one by one, each with its own download link when done.
If you convert to PNG, there is zero quality loss. If you convert to JPG, a very small amount of compression is applied, but at the quality setting used by ConvHEIC it is virtually invisible in normal photos.
